Lead Aggression

Lead aggression normally stems from a certain trigger or a bad experience. When a dog feels threatened by something, the first and safest option for the dog is to run away from the threat. This is called the ‘flight response.’ If the dog is unable to create a distance between itself and the threat, the only other options left are either to submit in the hope the threat goes away, or fight – the ‘fight response.’

Leon will evaluate your dog to find out the reason for the aggression. Dogs use fight or flight mode and often feel trapped if attached to a lead. Some simple training techniques will help by giving you the tools to correct any problem behaviour positively.

Leon can solve all aspects of problem dog behaviour including chewing, puppy, command and clicker training as well as all of the above!
